Abstract:
Modern technology is opening up new opportunities in education that can bring an innovative and fun approach to primary school learning. One of these technologies is the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) chatbot, which is based on advanced artificial intelligence and the ability to generate human-written text.

The aim of our study is to investigate the possibilities of using the GPT chatbot in primary school teaching and to find out how this tool can enrich the teaching process. In our research, we focused on several key aspects such as interactivity, collaboration, personalization, evaluation and feedback.

In our research we designed and tested specific activities for the subjects of Health education, Czech language, Mathematics. These activities use the GPT chatbot and include, for example, interactive tasks for practicing mathematical skills, conversational activities for developing language skills, and materials for reinforcing healthy lifestyles.

Our study is based on a real deployment of the GPT chatbot in an primary school classroom and evaluates the effectiveness and feedback from students and teachers on the proposed activities. We believe that the use of the GPT chatbot in a primary school classroom, together with the activities developed and tested, brings a new and innovative approach to education.
