Abstract:
Distance learning caused the emergence of new situations in the field of education. Due to the need to provide adequate education, which often requires the physical presence of students, especially in the education provided by technically oriented universities and high schools, it was necessary to integrate elements characteristic for industry 4.0 directly into the teaching process. The publication points out the possibilities of integration of IoT elements within the subject Additive production. The aim of the course is to acquaint the target group with the equipment of additive production, troubleshooting associated with its individual phases up to the creation of final model / design. This process required the creation of partial remote access to additive production devices for students and their coordination, which is the subject of individual chapters. Given the effort to increase the degree of integration of students into this form of distance education, the article also presents a conceptual option for solving the operational control of accessible devices. This is done by interpreting the operating parameters of the devices in real time using augmented reality. Creating a concept of a learning space with remote access, which allows effective control over individual processes, thanks to the use of augmented reality, is one of the many other ways to streamline the teaching process during crisis situations.
