Abstract:
The cooperation among teachers and students is an important part of education. The secondary school in Novy Jicin realized project tried to improve this cooperation.

The basic idea of the project was, thanks to the help of students and teachers, to create a workbook of natural science that improved School Education Programme (SVP).

The school wanted to achieve the goals by means of sharing the sites of the workbook on the Internet. All sites were, after a broad discussion with students, published for everyone. One of the advantages, concerning the so-called SVP, was the interconnection of physics, chemistry, biology, history, and philosophy. Sites had English and German dictionaries.

The workbook focused especially on skills. Many chapters were dedicated to experiments, which got along modern technology. Students approached from theory to cognition, understanding and finally to skills. Teachers and students created a virtual environment for the disadvantaged students, they logged in from their homes and used technologically poor computers. By means of this, the school offered them the possibility to work with expensive software and thus improve the parameters of work.

Natural science course with practice in terrain was a part of the lesson. Lectures concerning ecology and environment topics were part of the course.
• Objective 1: Teachers, by means of interconnection, worked on a workbook, that was not a copy of present workbooks. They tried to involve many links to current topics, add experiments and samples from practice. The interaction of students and teachers played a basic role because students were given the opportunity to comment on the workbook online. It resulted in the improvement of cooperation among teachers, understanding of what students need, an interconnection of physics, chemistry, biology, and foreign languages as well.
• Objective 2: The school interconnected the PASCO measurement with the interactive board, which enabled the students to understand the curriculum easily. The use of sensors and involvement of experiments into workbook was the output.
• Objective 3: A necessary change in providing support from the school must be done so that no student would be disadvantaged due to the implementation of modern forms of teaching using ICT. By means of the virtual web, the students were offered to log in the virtual server of the school in which they went onto the more powerful environment. The students were given training of how to use virtual servers, instruction guide, the use of thin or zero clients.
• Objective 4: A natural science course was prepared for students of the 2nd grades. Its aim was to make students understand and study water pollution, water, and soil pH, environment, noise, dust. They learned how to evaluate the real data and process them into presentations. The outputs of the course were professional lectures about ecology, pollution of the environment, sorting of waste, including texts, examples, final presentations and their involvement into the workbook.
