Abstract:
Web 2.0 and social networks have become a big part of our lives and we have witnessed them entering all spheres of society. Ignoring their existence in entrepreneurship is a disastrous problem, especially in the last two years it was obvious that the changes in the market survived only those who were present on various web platforms.

Most of the information that a human being receives during the day comes from the internet and even companies can benefit from that very well. Entrepreneurs can raise their company to a higher level just by using social networks and web. Because there are such large platforms through which they can very quickly get in touch with potential customers and share the content with them. A great advantage of this type of marketing is two-way communication and big savings. Users can also easily express themselves and give their feedback, which is important for both sides.

By publishing content through social networks regularly and pointing out the actions and benefits that the company offers, a great response can be achieved. With the help of creativity and originality, hundreds or even millions of customers can easily be attracted.

Due to these facts, it is not surprising at all that young people are increasingly interested in educating about digital technologies, given that they have become a very important part of every company. Nowadays, a good knowledge of digital tools promises a successful career, since for many this type of communication is the only one.

Therefore this paper will provide results of a survey of technical students from Graz University of Technology about their satisfaction about the education of social and digital media and their knowledge of usage of social and digital media.
