Abstract:

Why do students plagiarize?
Because it’'s much more easier than writing, because it takes less time, because it doesn’'t require additional research, because students can’'t cite properly.
While plagiarism detection software can show copied text and provide link to the source, bringing the problem in front of students and educators is not enough.
At Unplag we are presently working at a software that will help students write better papers.

During the speech we will make an introduction of the tool. Your thoughts, comments and functionality requests will be highly welcomed.

There will be a discussion panel to finalize, which features, based on your feedback, are to be launched first. You will also be able to join the group of educators for Beta-testing in 2016.
