In this contribution, the author presents the results of a survey focusing on the analysis of used teaching methods and teaching concepts, as well as motivational methods that activate student activity and help develop entrepreneurial skills. The research tool was a questionnaire method. Three pre-formulated research problems were tested through this method. The aim of the contribution is to present the results of the analysis of opinions and attitudes of the respondents. The aim of the survey was to find out how many and what methods, especially of modern innovative methods teachers use and how often they introduce them into the teaching process. The partial aim is to find out what motivational methods and how often teachers try to motivate their students in order to make the teaching process more effective; increase the interest in learning and fulfill educational goals.

The theoretical part focuses on the personality of the teacher; the teacher's competence and the teaching methods. In the practical part, based on the results of the questionnaire survey, the opinions and attitudes of teachers on the application of innovative methods in relation to the fulfillment of the stated educational objectives are assessed.

The benefit of this contribution can be seen in the identification of factors and methods positively influencing the education process in relation to boosting the efficiency of the education process with recommendations for implementation of modern and motivational teaching methods.
