Abstract:
Mobile touch devices are becoming one of the most widely used ICT tools available to pupils and teachers during their teaching. This may be own device or device borrowed by the school. In case of own devices (BYOD model), there may be a lot of problems with installing applications that may not exist for all types of mobile devices. Therefore, web applications that are independent of the device and operating system used are largely used. The paper deals with the possibilities of using mobile touch devices and web applications in the application of a frontal way of teaching, which is particularly widespread in public education. The paper describes two web applications that can be used to support the frontal way of teaching. It also describes situations that can help with remove some of the disadvantage of frontal teaching method. The Nearpod application primarily addresses the feedback during the teaching. The Classkick helps you set the individual pace of each pupil. Both tools support the individualization of teaching in a normally filled class. The paper also deals briefly with the issue of the BYOD model.
