Abstract:
Mobile technologies have great potential to be used effectively to enhance the teaching of natural science subjects. The article is focused on possibilities of mobile touch screen devices as for execution of a pupils´ experiment. Ways of educational use of individual functions of a video editing tool on the tablet are described herein. Mobile technology allows the implementation of new procedures such as the use of slow-motion video, time lapse video, or a complete standstill. The article includes a specific demonstration of a Physics lesson of 12-14-year-old pupils along with the tablet used as a tool to write down all about the experiment process. This is an alternative way of recording and analyzing student work normally carried out at the school experiment. They are discussed the benefits of that way of pupils‘ work.

Most tasks can be performed directly in the classroom and in the implementation of the experiment. There is strengthened pupils‘ creation and it is expected that this will increase the rate impact on pupils. Certainly can not be ignored and motivation element, which is the production of a video for students currently attractive, than creating a written form of registration or a simple presentation.

Advantages and disadvantages of such use are set out here along with additional possibilities with regard to further technological development. The described method works also supports BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) model.
