Abstract:
In this study, we present the characteristic analysis of the CT (Computational Thinking)-gifted elementary students in the fifth and sixth grade who participated in the gifted e-learning education. The students are possible to upload their reports and questions on our smart learning system through the PC or the smart phone and to utilize the video chat so that video learning can be possible in real-time. Further, they are taught the CT learning phase of every 6 weeks in order to solve real-life problems and go through the discussing mission. The students were observed who have steadily improved their performance in the curriculum of a year (hereinafter referred to as an improvement group), and we want to focus on them to examine their characteristics.

After the analysis, the correlation coefficient of the improvement group student is high especially in the tutoring education. They have been rated as excellent in interpersonal relationship ability with their mentor, who upload a lot of comments. They show high motive of challenges, problem solving skills and self-leading force. Also, the more the activities of these comments increases, the higher it is found that their self-esteem is developed.

In addition, at the time of Scratch learning for CT ability, the result shows that immersive ability, creative problem solving skills and interpersonal relationship have been improved. In particular, compared to other students, they used the Remix features many times for collaboration with other students. Therefore, interpersonal relationship ability is also improved.
