Abstract:
Higher education system as one of the parts and elements of culture has followed considerable formative process before Islam in the cultural history of Iran and outcomes of higher education system are to be thought deeply. The universities' activities should be parallel to the economical, social and cultural needs of any society. Otherwise, the society is faced with so many problems like not being compatible with the jobs' needs of the country; not spreading knowledge for economical, cultural and human forces' development and the lack of giving expertise services. Regarding the outstanding history of Iran higher education which is encountered with stagnancy and quiescence because of political, social and historical problems, the goal of this article is studying the mentioned process and the reasons of succeeding and not succeeding it according to Iran higher education outcomes. Regarding the descriptive essence of article that needs interpretive approach to subject, the method used in this article is descriptive-analytic. The results of this paper emphasizes on making opportunities for these systems to be more compatible with global modern changes and getting a better place in world rankings as well as to revenue economy in economic based-knowledge age.
