Abstract:

New generations of distance education, while emphasizing on Information and communication Technology, have facilitated interaction processes among nations, cultures and thoughts and accordingly paved the way for more and more internationalization and globalization of higher education and curriculum. Current study, aiming at study of distance education approach, analysis the viewpoints of higher education professors, Iranian students (Ph.D&M.S) and non-Iranian students, as a strategy for internationalization of curriculum in Iranian higher education system, by questionnaire tools. The results of the study after data analysis by T-test and ranking of them by Friedman test have indicated that Iran’s attaining scientific power in the current globalization process, requires making measures for internationalization of higher education and curriculum and distance education approach, in addition to its interactive relation with internationalization of curriculum, have had some effects on most of interactive factors in this process, including professional improvement of professors and expansion of universities international cooperation. Accordingly, by means of this high flexibility, productivity, passing of geographical, political, economic and cultural bords, except providing conditions and resources as well as decreasing restrictions, have facilitated grasping opportunities like having various higher education applicants in the region and its application, in particular in the framework of blended learning approach, is an strategy for internationalization of higher education curriculum
