Abstract:
The question of the beginning of postmodernism as a literary course is deniable in Georgia. Generally, it is considered to be developed in the last decade of the twentieth century. After the facts of April 9, 1989 in the Post Soviet Georgia postmodernism began its existence. That’s why it should be mentioned that some Georgian critics (Levan Bregadze, Bela Tsipuria, Nugzar Muzashvili) survey not only the last decade of the XX century, but also the works of the authors of the previous generation as well, because the tendencies and marks of postmodern course are seen in the Georgian literature much time before than its beginning, as the 90s is considered to be the time of its beginning.
In the work is stated the problem of relativity of educational aspects of postmodernism in higher educational programs and developing student’s skills for understanding and perceiving postmodern works. For example, a postmodern work should be considered half understood without double decipher as well as allusion, reminiscences and postmodern sensibility needs selection and perception for complete understanding of a work.
In the work is studied and analyzed the tendencies of postmodern course in the Georgian literature and the process of their development as a course according to the works of Goderdzi Chokheli, a Georgian writer of the XX-XXI centuries. Herewith, the research includes the discussion and conclusion of important questions such as:
1. The survey of the relativity between the abovementioned problem and the works created by the writers of the last decade of the XX century and some time before;
2. The discussion of different versions of the developing process of postmodern tendencies in the Georgian literature;
3. The parallels are made between the courses and tendencies of postmodernism of the West literature studies and Georgian literature studies;
4. The discussion of postmodern course in some works of Goderdzi Chokheli - a Georgian writer of the XX-XXI centuries, as an important outfall of this tendency.
The results of the research are presented for higher educational programs for recognizing the elements of postmodern tendencies in order to assist students in understanding literary works.
