Abstract:
Modern university plays crucial role in motivated towards a competitive institution. A university must enhance their educational process related to the innovations of ICT and the educational technologies. Jordan, as one of the developing nation, focuses on universities sector as one of the most influential sectors in economic, social, and human growth that develop the country. However, the King and government in Jordan face many challenges to increase the quality of the output in universities and to sustain the scientific research. Sadly, there are lack of programs and researches that evaluate and assess the effectively of using e-learning to improve the educational process in Jordanian universities. The main purpose of this paper is to examine the evaluation factors related to the usage of e-learning in Jordanian public universities. A self-administered survey was conducted on 170 academic staff selected as deans of faculties, Academic departments’ chairs, and managers of computer and e-learning centers. About 133 participants (78%) have responded. The paper provides the findings of evaluation and assessment factors of using the effectiveness e-learning. In addition, it provides recommendations to the leader of universities towards promoting a successful usage of educational technologies in the future.
