Abstract:
'Education field is dominated by women in the sense that there are more women employed in the teaching field right from the play school to higher education system. As far as technology is cencerned women have started contributing to these fields, but research and development field is not even as it should have been in real practice. Women have to look after their family and their earning is till cosidered to be secondary in the family. In spite of having erge to do something new they are not able to do so because of the social structure of the Indian Society. Because of the competition innovations improvement in teaching is on more demand. Distance learning would help such women to shoulder the responsibility of home and job. For many things women have to rely on circulars, notices circulated by the organisations. The Information technology and Internet are playing a great role in development of the women from backword class women as they do not have to rely on the authorities. These technologies have opened the doors of opportunities to them. With little bit extra effort of learning how to use the tecnology they can do wonders. They can collect the knowldge of the subject, current status of the subject, different techniques, innovative methods used by other people and can develop their own technique according to the specific need of their students.

With this wide platform they would enjoy the work they are doing and if they can not afford they would vitually participate in conferences to share their experince with other people. The use of technology has not only improved the thinking educational experience but equal oppotunities in research and development field in technical subjects.
