Abstract:
The teacher and the student are two key-figures of the educational space that determine its psychological atmosphere. The emotional and personal well-being of students and university teachers, the positive style of their thinking, the expression of adaptive abilities strongly influence on the psycho-emotional climate in the educational institution, the effectiveness of communication, the success and effectiveness of the educational process. The study of emotional and personal well-being of students and teachers, as well as its predictors can help to determine the right direction of psychological support and assistance of subjects of higher education. The obtained data shows that students value their emotional and personal well-being higher than teachers. Also, during the psychological support of teachers, it is necessary to take gender into account, and special attention must be paid to the male part of the sample, since the emotional and personal well-being of men is lower than that of women.
