Abstract:
The integration and advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in education have sparked significant debate and raised ethical considerations. While the potential benefits of AI in education are widely discussed, the ethical implications associated with its design and development remain relatively understudied. This paper aims to address this gap by conducting a comprehensive review of existing literature on the ethical perspective of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED). Drawing upon existing research, this study focuses on key ethical aspects, including data management, biases, transparency, inclusivity, and authorship. Collaboration among government officials, scholars, teachers, and technology professionals is essential in order to examine how AI tools can be safely utilized in education. Incorporating ΑΙ tools into the educational setting and instructing students on their responsible and effective utilization, can equip them with the skills necessary to excel in a future labor market increasingly dominated by AI. Therefore, by synthesizing and analyzing relevant studies, this paper seeks to contribute to the ongoing discussion on the responsible and ethical integration of AI technologies in educational settings.
