Abstract:
Creative approaches offer effective ways for intervention in students with special educational needs that are based on heterogeneous possibilities and goals of application of creative means. Theories of creative approaches in Czech special education were created mainly on the basis of interdisciplinary transfer. Contemporary analyses show that in some aspects these theories don´t reflect needs and the reality of educational and social institutions in the Czech republic. In this paper authors analyse the possibilities and limitations in the creation of theories for creative approaches on the basis of interdisciplinary transfer of experiences from the area of expressive therapies, art philetic and art education. The comparison of several research studies´ outcomes and data published in special education literature are used. According to the authors further research is needed for creation of adequate theory in the area of creative approaches. In the conclusion of this paper a formulation of research question is suggested.
