Abstract:
Most people think that children learn through play by electronic toys, but not by building block play. They are astonished to know that building block play is the best way for the learning of small children. This is because it grows with them. They enjoy it. They learn from it.
Construction means learning. When children build they learn many ideas. They are natural builders when they play and when they discover the world around them. When they build zoos with blocks, or build houses, or containers for their toys, or build towers and bridges, they meet all the challenges that face real architects.
In the last years block play and architectural plays appeared in many countries as part of learning centers. Many parts of these plays were manufactured to build different architectural designs since Froebel who presented the first different architectural designs in the form of presents which are still used until today.
