Abstract:
Creativity in the teaching profession is considered as the main characteristic and prerequisite for the effectiveness of the professional activity. Creativity is inherent in the effective teacher, who in the modern educational environment must combine many roles such as innovator, facilitator, network administrator, idea generator, etc.
Non-standardness, which is a prerequisite for the manifestation of creativity in any human activity, is a basic component of the thinking and behavior of the modern teacher. Therefore it should be stimulated purposefully through special programs for continuing qualification.
The article proposes a methodological model designed to stimulate non-standardness of teachers from different stages and degrees of the educational system, which was applied and evaluated within the framework of training qualification programs. The model consists of sets of methods (games, exercises, creative tasks, case studies, problem-solving etc.), suitable for the two parts of classical training - reflexive and formative.
The structuring of different methodical elements within a training depends on the needs of the group of teachers with whom one is working. The study covered 1256 teachers. The level of development of the non-standardness within each training form is evaluated by a reflective scale. The research data are summarized with statistical methods and a profile of the teacher's non-standardness is derived in accordance with the specifics of professional activity.
