Abstract:
In the last decade, public education in Greece has been making rapid and effective progress in terms of its digital transformation. The openness to innovation and change that most educational units have applied in order to achieve digital transformation, has contributed to their becoming digital learning organizations. The Greek public educational unit makes use of the myschool information system (https://myschool.sch.gr/), a nationwide system, contributing in a substantial way to its transformation and at the same time it is a useful tool for the teacher who has a position of responsibility to work towards the specific course with directness and efficiency.
This specific research focuses on investigating the opinions of the principals/teachers in the Greek primary school about the importance and usefulness of myschool. Specifically, the research focuses on the principals of the Prefecture of Achaia and their views on the importance and usefulness of the myschool Information System. Primarily, it focuses on the difficulties they face when using it as well as on suggestions they make themselves for its further development and development to cover the needs they consider it does not cover. The findings of the specific research showed that the specific Information System is in the right direction even though it should be developed even more to cope with the ever-increasing demands and imperatives of the 4th Industrial Revolution.Keywords:
