Abstract:
This research focuses on the digital knowledge and skills acquired by Greek teachers after the three-year duration of the pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for a digitally transformed education system that can effectively respond to the use of educational and computing technologies. The transformation of educational units into learning organizations that are digitally transformed and able to respond effectively to rapidly evolving conditions has become of paramount importance. The present research examines the level of knowledge and skills of the teachers of the Primary Schools of the Prefecture of Achaia in the ICT. and distance learning platforms after the end of the Covid-19 pandemic in relation to the findings of the two researchers two years earlier. At the same time, the degree of their desire to become active members of a modern educational system compatible with the new digital age and the imperatives of the 4th Industrial Revolution is examined. The research was carried out using a questionnaire with closed type questions. According to the results, the teachers seem to have a high percentage of knowledge and skills in their educational practices towards ICT. and distance learning platforms in relation to the survey carried out two years earlier. The recorded views, therefore, of the research teachers highlighted on the one hand the adaptation of the Greek teachers to the new digital educational reality, and on the other the obstacles to their adaptation to the new digital data.Keywords:
