Abstract:
The article discusses the modern language policy of certain subjects of the Russian Federation: the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), in particular the subject of study is the education system, as today, the involvement of languages in the education system is one of the most effective means of successful implementation of the language policy of the Federal states and their regions. It should be noted that when using the native language as the language of instruction, there are certain difficulties such as: the lack of necessary educational materials, the need to develop appropriate terminology for the purposes of education, lack of teachers with the necessary training, etc. In addition, there are difficulties in the processes of language teaching. The method of teaching the language is constantly changing and can be very different not only in different countries, but even in the same country. Much depends on the prevailing language concept and the paradigms of language teaching and the role of the taught language. Thus, language policy is a complex and often contradictory process which aims to unite all citizens of a multinational state, on the other hand, to consider their individual characteristics and needs for providing a comfortable position for all participants of a language picture in one of the multinational state. The result of the work will be recommendations for improving the effectiveness of language policy and a generalized forecast of the development of languages in the research regions.
