Abstract:
Are you external human resource services providers? How can you really contribute to sustainable employee’s career development and work collaborative to solve your client’s business challenges? There are, of course, other questions connected with long-term view of each client partnership and on other hand to keep what makes you unique.
The paper is focused on learning/development trends and best practice experiences exchange.
In terms of sustainability principle there should be a balance between two statements: what is good for corporate, core values and business goals is good for employees – and on other hand what is good for employee's career development is good for organisational performance, customer satisfaction, effective human resource management and creating value for shareholders.
On the base of simple overview of typical reference models (Four stages how to become a leader and the mentoring-coaching continuum) these are applied to best practice experiences from 15-years training and coaching in business environment in East European countries. Some examples of development programmes for management are discussed and comparative conclusions offered.
