Abstract:

Musical education of children and youth in public education is an obligation resulting from teaching standards. The awareness of the role of music in the overall development of a child has been known and proven for many years, yet nowadays there is a crisis in the reception of classical music. One of the ways of introducing artistic music to students is the organization of educational concerts for children by the Scientific Club of Students of Artistic Education at the Academy of Music. Krzysztof Penderecki in Krakow. During preparation, students acquire the skills to create and present concerts for students who are very unique and demanding audiences.

The article will present the results of research that was conducted among children participating in concerts and students in 2024. The research was conducted using the diagnostic survey method, using two techniques: a survey and an interview.
