Abstract:
The article is dedicated to theoretical and practical insights into the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the process of Physics education, which includes using innovative methods in the Latvian educational context. It analyses the significance of ICT application in the educational process, functional capabilities of the use of educational portals and presents the theoretical model of the realization of ICT in Physics education. This study is the result of a long-term pedagogical investigation spanning 2000 to 2017. The pedagogical experiment allowed testing the theoretical findings and using them to create a model for the development of dynamic skills. The article introduces to empirical research in order to present the approach of high education learners to the use of open education resources service system as the possibility of functional application of a separate ICT unit in high education. Educational support for secondary teachers to use contemporary ICT and open education resources provisions more effectively for their competence development are presented.Keywords:
