Abstract:
The adaptation to the Bologna Process is going to imply some kind of a retrograde motion in the Copernican system for the central european universities that will surely turn over the functions of the university not just as it has been for the last decades but the last centuries. And that just in the case the process will overcome all the enormous difficulties concerned with it. From it’s current teaching role and, in any case, educational role it is planned to move into the parameters of a more scientific and researching function demanded by the society. From this new (or at least retaken) point of view, so near to the anglo-saxon view of the universitarian institution, relations between the university and the society demand a new frame of partnership in which mass media are called to play a basic part. And not only the media but also the new and every day more flexible distributing and consuming channels of information. Here is where our proposal is placed: the creation of different platforms of scientific disclosure not only to promote and make an easier access to the sharing of knowledge among researching groups but to help to inform society about the results of this scientific activity. This will generate a new perception of the university as a social reality linked and concerned with the necessities and interests of the citizens.
