Abstract:
Nowadays, an increasing number of universities are combining their resources and teaching innovation methodologies to offer university qualifications that are taught jointly, giving rise to the so-called inter-university titles. These qualifications require adequate coordination so that no interference is generated between the lecturers of the different contributing universities. To this end, the new information and communication technologies, which have become one of the fundamental axes of the 21st century society, are enabling the generation of new training spaces and modalities.

This paper shows the results of the use of different ICT in an Inter-University Master's Degree in Agrifood, attached to two Andalusian universities, the University of Cadiz (UCA) and the University of Cordoba (UCO), Spain. In these university qualification, the virtual classroom or virtual campus are used as teaching spaces, in which students are connected to teachers and carry out academically directed activities, using different tools. In contrast to other degrees, on-site teaching is done using the Adobe Connect online platform, which allows students from the UCA and UCO to follow the lectures without having to be in the same physical space. This MSc qualification, which was introduced in the academic year 2015-16, has enabled teachers to develop different strategies for using ICT’s to assess the skills that students should acquire.

The use of this online tool can allow students to continue with their university studies without interruption at present, where the declaration of the Spanish State of Alarm by the Royal Decree 463/2020 of 14th March, motivated by Covid-19 pandemic, has stopped the maintenance of university activities on a regular basis. The results presented in this paper could serve as a reference working tool for the application of tele-teaching in other different universities qualifications.
