Abstract:

Nowadays Information and Communication tools (ICT) are the main skills and tools for every working activity, and specifically in the engineering field. These virtual, online and software tools make engineers work in an efficient, easy and a well-managed way. And because of that, in the engineering area, we must know that all the ICT tools are available for every task, and also, the different utilities that this type of methods offer for every part or stage of the complex world of technical projects in engineering.
That is why in this work we present the information and communication tools that are used in technical projects management in industrial engineering practise. We also offer our specific methodology about all these ICT to show a complete and interesting view applied to the real cases and tasks where every tool is optimal if it is included in the technical projects management in a company.
The future engineers must be aware and acquire all this knowledge to improve their working profiles as 21st century engineers, and because all the companies require these capabilities, which are included in the engineering curriculum, when the engineering students finish their degree.
