Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to propose the opinion of the staffs to the welfare management in Srinakharinwirot University.The researcher studied under the principle of the good governance in 6 aspects namely : law, merit, transparency, participation, accountability and cost-effectiveness.Three hundred and fifty officials,university paid employees and administrators of were samples.

Sex, status, line, experience, education and branch office were variables in this study.The survey questionnaires of the five Likert rating scales were used for gathering opinion data from 350 samples of the university personnel in the first semester of 2008. There were three hundred person or 85.71 percent of questionnaires were returned and proper. Arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and F-test were used for data analyses.

The research results were as follows :
1. The opinion of the staffs to the welfare management in Srinakharinwirot University according to the principles of good governance in total 6 aspects as perceived by the university personnel showed at high level. Each aspect showed that law, merit, participation,
accountability and cost-effectiveness were at high level and transparency was at very high level in rating set scale with no statistically significant.
2. The opinion of the staffs to the welfare management in Srinakharinwirot University as perceived by sex, status, line, experience, educated and occupation of the staffs showed at high level rating set scale with statistically significant at the .05 and .01 level.
