Abstract:
The aim of this scientific research paper was to assess the relationship between the assessment of life contentment of sports professionals and latent dimensions obtained from generic kinesiological competencies. The sample consisted of 105 sport professionals who undertook lifelong learning education program.

The linear regression analysis was used in which the association between the criterion variable the assessment of life contentment and four predictor variables of latent dimensions of generic kinesiological competencies was calculated. The obtained data were processed by factor analysis and four latent dimensions were defined: General factor of training process management ability, Factor of socially responsible behavior, Ability for identification of individual characteristics of athletes and undefined fourth factor. Linear regression analysis revealed statistically significant relationship between first and third factor with the criterion variable, from which it can be concluded that sport professionals with competencies for training management as well as sport professionals who are able to identify individual characteristics of their athletes have higher level of life contentment feeling through their professional performance.
