Abstract:
The examining the behavior of students in the learning process is an area that allows to detect weaknesses in teaching and increases its overall effectiveness in terms of both student and educational institution. Our contribution focuses on the area of knowledge verification with IT support. The research here can be oriented on various aspects according the above mentioned purposes of the analysis or the available data. The subject of our research was the students' behavior during electronically realized test. For this purpose was created specialized software, that can provide detailed information about each students’ steps during the testing. The method of analysis was proposed for the collected data and will be described in the paper. The method is based on the phases that students are passing through when answering test questions. The phases focused on the preparation, real answering questions and verification were detected. In particular the temporal data were examined according to various criteria. The analysis results of the behavior of the students’ test group will be presented and discussed as well.
