Abstract:
Many terrorist attacks are targeted against soft targets. These attempted attacks are conducted with the aim to threaten people. Preventing these situations and reducing their consequences requires synergy between the state, private entities and individuals. Here it shows the importance of involving all people in mitigating the consequences of terrorist attacks. In this article, we have focused on behavioral education for students to help prevent potential terrorist attacks or behaviors during it.

The process of educating students in this direction is aimed at raising awareness of this security threat. It explains, how it can be done if one suspects of an imminent terrorist attack. It also describes how people should behave during and after the attack.

The paper analyzed several available resources dealing with the protection of soft targets. Some procedures that are currently being addressed are described. After making the analysis, we created deduction procedures to point out how to act in a terrorist attack. It shows the behavior before, during and after the attack.

Knowing how to behave during a terrorist attack can greatly enhance the security of not only humans but also private objects. The intention is to educate security engineering students in this direction, as the threat of the terrorist attack is still at the forefront. Students become people who are capable of acting in these situations. Their object is not to eliminate the attacker by own forces, but they can cooperate with rescue teams and provide them with important information on their intervention. Students trained in this field are prepared for stressful situations of this kind.
