Abstract:
The paper was aimed to creating a method for evaluating the learning curve of the harvester operators. The method was based on joining classical methods with method of evaluating the human physiological response on the mental load – biofeedback. Classical methods evaluate mainly the indicators of productivity. To evaluate these indicators it was necessary to create a video recording, which would represent all situations needed for determination of shift productivity. The biofeedback observations were aimed to selected physiological indicators: muscle activity, pulse, changes in skin conductance level, etc. After joining the data from the video recording with the biofeedback data not only the total productivity of the operator could be determined, but also the level of stress created by individual operations, determine which operations are the most problematic and adapt the teaching plan.
