COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TEACHERS OF KINDERGARTEN AND PARENTS – ACCORDING TO THE PARENTS’ OPINION (PART 1)

Abstract:
Polish kindergartens are obliged to keep contact with the children’s parents. In the following article I am going to present the opinion of the parents concerning their cooperation with the teachers in kindergarten in the whole country. The research was done in 2016 and 2017 year, and all provinces in Poland were included (the country, a town under 100 thousand of citizens, a town over 100 thousand of citizens).
There were 2051 parents of the children attending to kindergarten examined in the research. The researching issues were concentrated on examining the relationship between the indirect variable (the sex, age, the level of education, the size of the place living, the number of years of the child’s attending to the kindergarten) and the choice among the respondents: the aims of the cooperation, the forms of the activities.
According to the data analysis I observed the following correlations:
- the sex, age, the size of the place living, the number of years of the child’s attending to the kindergarten influence on defining the aims of cooperation;
- the sex, age, the level of education, the size of the place living, the number of years of the child’s attending to the kindergarten influence on the forms of activities.Keywords:
