Abstract:
Together with development of technique, different areas of human’s life are modernized. The Polish school also has changed, as well as the tasks and aims it has to fulfill. It is widely thought, that school is not a factory producing a homogenous product, and this faulty rejects during production. Every child should be treated as an individual, who is possessed with good and negative sides. We are born with some talents, so teachers’ task is to develop them or create situations to appear others. This is why the system of The Polish education should be improved in such a way so that all pupils could be activated. Activeness manifests itself in solving problems individually with help of the certain means and methods. Pupils carry into the effects the undertaken activities to the end regardless of confrontation with handicaps. We refer to alternate changes in education, which take place during a creative process with a particular regard to lateral thinking, what means creating something new simultaneously avoiding usual schemes. “ Thinking aside” is based on special methods and working techniques. One of them is a method of breaking into fragments, which can be used to create mathematical activeness.
