Abstract:
The paper aims to identify and compare the profile of creative students from Romania and Italy.
Creativity is assessed according to students’ opinion on creative features of their own personality, their capacities to solve a new problem, as well as the characteristics they consider defining for a creative person.
The creative profile is defined by analysing the student’s perception on creativity with statistical methods such as Multiple Response Analysis and Factorial Correspondence Analysis.

The paper is based on data collected through simultaneous sample surveys conducted in universities from both Romania and Italy (Al.I.Cuza University of Iasi, Universita degli Studi di Perugia, Academy of Economic Studies from Bucharest, and Gh. Asachi Technical University of Iasi).

The results of the comparative analysis allow comparing two spaces and cultures and identifying specific features of Romanian and Italian students. Moreover, the results allow, by Statistical Tests, to verify if these specific features are defining of the student’s creative profile.
In the same time, the main factors that influence student’s creativity are: education, academic environment, human potential. Also, concerning the way students show their creativity, there are students that feel more suitable for individual creativity, while other feel more suitable for group creativity.
