Abstract:
Experiments are essential to improve students’ in-depth understanding in particular physics topics. Furthermore, several skill experiences will be acquired while performing the experiment and demonstration by teachers. Most of the schools are lack of special equipments like oscilloscope, signal generator etc. and due to this constraint many experiments and demonstrations could not be done or shown to the student during Teaching and Learning process (T&L). Most of the conventional sound waves experiments are less attractive, qualitative measurement, inaccurate, and less effective to do demonstration to a big group of students. A Freeware known as Visual Analyser (VA) from the internet can be utilized and used together with developed apparatus for T&L process of sound waves topics in physics. This development is a new innovation and can save thousand of dollars if the apparatus can be developed by using low cost materials. This paper will described the development of simple experimental and demonstration sets that can be utilized in secondary as well as tertiary physics educations.
