Abstract:
The continuous evaluation of student learning during the teaching process is a key aspect of the new European Higher Education. The most common evaluation tool is the written exam. The study discusses various alternatives based activities with strong practical subjects in the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering: (i) The questionnaire with multiple choice type questions on the subject theoretical contents; (ii) The formative and evaluative tutorials consist in carrying out such a problem with foreign aid book or teacher, if it is formative, and individual tutoring if it is evaluative; (ii) The resolution of problems in real conditions allows students to solve problems with reference materials under conditions similar to those of a chemical engineer; (iv) The solving problem in group of the students where they have to solve problems of an undeveloped issue in class. Continuous evaluation, Multiple-choice questions, Tutorials.
