Abstract:
The training on the subject ‘Around the world‘ in the Bulgarian schools is aimed at developing the personality of the young pupils of age 6-7 and 7-8 years. The goals are to increase their cognitive abilities, to form social skills and competences. Learned knowledge of objective reality is fundamental to their successful adaptation, inclusion, socialization - preparation for life.

The publication explores part of the experimental study with pupils of first and second grades in the lessons of the subject ‘Around the world’. The aim is to identify the positive influence of the pedagogical technologies used in the lesson, aimed at enhancing their cognitive abilities.

The used pedagogical technologies have enriched the learning content of inclusive education in the social world. Interactive-communicative learning methods, artistic-illustrative and multimedia resources, as well as, a set of task to consolidate and apply their knowledge. Control and experimental research is conducted in two equal schools with first and second grade pupils.
