Abstract:
Due to the heavy weight that quality academics play in making the targeted changes and transformations, this study is the first of its type as the four forms of capital of the staff have not been researched adequately and properly in the Omani context. The utilisation of the Alignment of Transformation Model makes it possible to examine the quality of the education system via measuring the indicators of four forms of capital (i.e., intellectual, financial, spiritual, and social). Accordingly, this study seeks to identify the highest and lowest indicators of four forms of capital (i.e. intellectual, financial, spiritual, and social) as determinants of quality to be utilised in assessing the quality of the delivered programs at a an Omani public tertiary institute. A purposive sampling technique addresses the academic staff through employing a quantitative approach to achieve the study’s objective. The results will provide an empirical and published report that can assist the institute to improve the four forms of capital of its staff. Furthermore, the results will provide the corner stone for other colleges of applied sciences to stand on the degree of quality of the delivered programs at their respective colleges. Keywords:
