At this point in the development of time, it is worth noting a serious leap in the development of information and communication technologies and the importance of their application in the modern educational process. Today, distance learning technologies are actively developing all over the world, which are based on the creation of interactive environments. Distance learning today is revealed as an interaction, and this leads to certain changes in the views, values of each of the participants in the process. It is important to emphasize that the use of distance learning should cover the entire pedagogical process, at all its stages: from planning to implementation, then it will be effective. The study was aimed at identifying the opinions of students and teachers regarding the development of competencies of senior students using new digital technologies.

When conducting interviews with three foreign language teachers, it was found that distance education can contribute to the development of schoolchildren's competencies, such as: speech, communication, sociocultural, teachers noted that in this regard, the distance learning process makes it possible for high school students to independently study languages, and here everyone shows how he knows how to learn, who makes every effort, he realizes the importance of language learning and learning in general. So teachers also see the prospect of a relatively partial implementation and combination of the traditional training system and the use of the distance education environment from the point of view of students' independent work. In this regard, it is worth proposing a project to introduce distance learning into the process of learning a foreign language.
