Abstract:
This study aims to evaluate the quality of the student experience instrument that has been used to measure the pragmatic and socioemotional experiences of students interacting with online learning systems in Indonesia higher education institutions. The student experience construct is measured by the AttrakDiff questionnaire which has been translated into Indonesia which is used to express the level of pragmatic quality, hedonic quality identification, hedonic quality stimulation, and attractiveness. Each dimension has 7 items in the form of a semantic differential with 7-scales from the negative to the positive pole. Data has been collected by ICE-Institute as many as 1369 respondents from 517 ICE-Institute students and 852 SPADA students. The quality of the instrument is seen from the level of validity and reliability of the student experience construct measurement model at the first and second order levels. All items at the first order level and the four dimensions at the second order level have standardized loading factors (lambda) > .50 and are significant, construct validity (CV) > .90, and composite construct reliability (CR) > .70. The results of this analysis indicate that the AttrakDiff questionnaire translated into Indonesian has shown a high level of construct validity and reliability in measuring student experience in exploring students' pragmatic and socioemotional experiences in interacting with online learning systems.
