Abstract:
A rapidly changing world with big advances in science and technology places increasing demands on digital skills and competences. Nowadays, digital technologies are a natural part of studies at all levels of schools, especially high schools. Computer technology such as desktop or laptop computers, interactive whiteboards, graphic tablets, but also software such as GeoGebra, have great potential if they are effectively used in the teaching process. In the digital environment, traditional methods meet innovative ones, which brings with it new possibilities. In this post, we will highlight some aspects of teaching higher education mathematics using GeoGebra software and present some topics for such innovative teaching. We believe that development of digital skills and competencies of future university graduates is not only the basis for an effective digital transformation in education, but also strengthens the profile of a graduate who is able to successfully establish himself in the labor market.
