Abstract:
Memorizing is the process that used to store knowledge and memorize require a strength of mind. There is no doubt that in this modern era there are many methods used to ensure the reservation of al-Qur’an. Android Tahfiz Management Application is an application that function as a teaching aid for teacher of Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. This project mainly are develop for student that has passed the beginner level. For beginner level, this application are not quite suitable because they are still in the process of learning and the concept of talaqqi and musyafahah cannot be left out. There are a few issue that could occur during tasmik session. Some student may not have courage and always tend to nervous in front of teacher. Tasmik session also required a lot of time to finish the curriculum. Sometimes, the classes may postponed and student need to find another time to meet the lecturer. So, this project is create to identify, design and develop mobile application that befitting and function as a teaching aid for lecturers and students of Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies in USIM to use it. Moreover, what differentiate this application from current application in market is that Android Tahfiz Management Application is create for student who already memorize Al-Quran and need an observation from lecturer to maintain their memorization. Thus, this project will function as a teaching aid and encourage students do self-learning with monitoring from teacher while level up their confident level.
