Abstract:
The research aimed to identify the students quality of life at the College of Basic Education, University of Mosul from their point of view. Two Hypotheses were formulated according to gender and department variables. The research used the descriptive approach. The sample of the research was (203) students, (136) male students and (67) female students were selected randomly, which is about 20% of the population. The researcher adopted the quality of life scale for university students, prepared by Al-Mansi and Kadhim (2006), which included six areas: public health, family and society , learning, emotions, mental health, time management, So, the scale ranged between (60 - 300). By using T.test the research reveled that the level of students quality of life was at (average ). Also, there were no statistically significant differences between males and females in the total score, and in the areas of public health, family and society, mental health ,and time management. Moreover, there are statistically significant differences between the scientific departments and human departments in the total scale, for the benefit of scientific departments.
