Abstract:
Digital technologies are an integral and natural part of everyday life. At present, digital technologies are used by students and teachers not only in full-time, but mainly distance forms of teaching. We can find them at all levels of the Czech and Slovak educational system, ie in kindergartens, primary, secondary and higher education. They are used in all areas of education for administrative work, for preparation for teaching, in teaching and for archiving educational results, for communication with the public, especially with pupils and parents.

Digital technologies fundamentally influence pupil's thinking, learning objectives and the learning environment. These technologies need to be used adequately, efficiently and effectively. Pupils need to be encouraged to use technology to help them grow personally, achieve life goals and improve their quality of life. This applies to all pupils, including the handicapped.

Pupils and teachers use not only school computers and tablets, but also their own mobile phones or tablets. By using these technologies, teaching becomes more attractive and fun for students. Thanks to these technologies, teachers get faster (often immediate) feedback from students. These facilities are used to rehearse, hand in assignments, test students, share videos and presentations, and more. With the growing number of mobile devices at schools, a large number of applications and portals that offer educational content have been added. A high-quality and fast Internet connection is essential for the effective use of digital devices created by applications in education, given that pupils use these devices in full-time and distance learning. Distance learning has become a common part of our lives today. Teamwork is common in teaching. In full-time teaching, students can work not only individually but also in groups. With modern forms of teaching using digital technologies, teamwork is not ruled out even in distance education. It is attractive, interesting and fun. Curriculum changes in education are currently being prepared in the Czech Republic. An integral part of teaching will be the digitization of education.

In our work we focus on the specific use of mobile devices in teaching based on our experience. We bring you a number of interesting tips and a number of educational applications and websites that bring educational content. The work is focused on the use of digital technologies in teaching with the use of student devices in independent work, group work and knowledge testing. Empirical research was carried out by survey methods (questionnaire, discussion, interview).
