Abstract:
The paper deals with the use of digital online technologies and interactive educational software for distance education in primary (and secondary) schools. The precondition for the effective use of digital technologies in schools presupposes that teachers have access to the necessary technical equipment and technologies and have sufficient digital literacy and competence to use them. The same is assumed for pupils or students. From their side it is about the technical and technological equipment as well as the user abilities and skills in the use of digital technologies. It is often not enough to use ready-made software didactic applications, but it is useful to create your own tailor-made ones. The article characterizes several tools that support the simple interactive creation of own presentations of the learning material and also allow the implementation of applications for testing knowledge. The article also reports on how teachers and students in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic managed distance learning during the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19. Empirical research was carried out using the questionnaire method and adequate methods of descriptive statistics were used to evaluate the questionnaires. We obtained additional data and information by discussing and conducting interviews with teachers.
