Abstract:
This article deals with comprehensive concept of student education about principles of Industry 4.0 . It is aimed at students of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies focusing on Production management and Industrial management. Due to their future work, it is necessary to follow the trends of Industry 4.0. The article describes some areas such as simulation, big data, 3D printing, Internet stuff, cloud services and augmented reality and how they affect to the future manager. In this article it will be described an algorithm to create the application in an augmented reality environment usable in the educational process. The article describes two basics principles using AR (Augmented Reality) in teaching. The first is the ability to transfer 3D objects to real-world using AR, and the other is to educate students for planning assembly processes focusing on ergonomics and technological process. In this article it is described the way how to create the applications in Unity and Vuforia as well, which work on the principle of active marker fields. Consequently, one example of student test is presented, in which technological assembly was made. Their assembly times were recorded according to the technological process, the error rate and the ability to adapt to the AR environment. Based on obtained results, it is possible to optimize AR applications so that the students can better understand the content of presented knowledge.
