Abstract:
Small Business Projects (SBP’s) are a new trend in higher education as a result of the revival of interest in small business in Europe in the last decade. Especially in the last five years, many European countries have suffered from high unemployment rates, economic recession and a high degree of negative changes in international trade. This situation has increased the attention paid by Belgium policy makers in higher education and the Artesis University College to the potential role of young entrepreneurs in prepress and multimedia companies as a recipe for more economic prosperity. This study aims to address some of the issues surrounding entrepreneurship education and SBP’s in the program of Professional Bachelor in de Graphical and Digital Media. During the project the researchers have considered some of the issues and difficulties highlighted in the literature on entrepreneurship education and training. The next part is a comparative analysis of the results of three years of SBP’s done by students with special attention on the use and efficiency of financial models and project management. Keywords:
