Abstract:
The e-learning is broadly implemented to education not only at universities but also in secondary as well as in primary schools. The education in primary schools has certain specifics that has to be anchored in e-learning. The primary education requires stimulating and creative environment that stimulates the brightest pupils, encourages the less talented pupils, protects and supports the weakest pupils and socially disadvantaged pupils as well. The inclusion of socially disadvantaged pupils is one of the specific commonly applied in the Czech primary education. The paper describes the results of comparative research study finding the differences of the use of digital technologies and e-learning in learning between pupils from major population and socially disadvantaged pupils. The research was carried at Primary School in Upice, where the e-learning is already implemented to education in subjects Mathematics, Czech, English and Science. The paper describes the possibilities of developing the digital literacy of socially disadvantaged pupils as well.
